FUNDING INFORMATION

In the United States, training funds from FEMA's National Training and Education Division (NTED) can possibly be used to host or attend an AHLS course. Each state has different mechanisms for funding. Many states receive funding and it is allotted to counties and fire departments can be eligible to use funds for training. Some states require prior requests for funds for training, while others can ask to use the funds at any time. Contact your state's Homeland Security Director for more information.

Verified AHLS Instructors can apply to bring AHLS to their organizations.  AHLS staff will help you through every step of the process. Learn more about hosting a course.

Our Co-presenter is the The American Academy of Clinical Toxicology (AACT), an international multi-disciplinary organization with the goal of advancing the diagnosis and treatment of poisonings. AACT members are on the AHLS Scientific Advisory Committee and AHLS Administrative Policy Committee.
