Regional Directors

The United States, Australia, Canada, Europe, and Mexico have been divided into regions  to maximize the medical community’s access to the AHLS program. A Regional Director has been appointed for each region. Each Regional Director is board-certified in toxicology through the Medical Toxicology Subboard of the American Boards of Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, and Preventive Medicine (ABEM, ABP, and ABPM), the American Board of Applied Toxicology (ABAT), and/or the American Board of Medical Toxicology (ABMT). In addition, the Regional Director must maintain current AHLS Instructor status.

Typically, when planning a course, the Regional Director is contacted and can serve as the required Course Director, Medical Director and/or Toxicologist for the course. If you are interested in hosting a course, contact the Regional Director for your area, or contact the AHLS International Headquarters.
